Thank you for your interest in becoming a Guest Teacher/Substitute for Pasco County Schools. There are four types of Substitute assignments available:
Daily Substitute- paid at $105 per day
Long-Term Substitute-paid at $125 beginning on day 10 of the assignment
Non-Instructional Substitute-paid at $15.00 per hour (Food & Nutrition, Custodial Services)
We have outsourced our Substitute program and have partnered with ESS to provide Substitute coverage for our schools. To be a daily, long-term, or non-instructional substitute you will need to apply and be hired with ESS. Background screening, Training and Orientation will be required before you will be able to accept assignments at our schools. See information below about applying for employment with ESS:

*Professional Guest Teacher- paid at $160 per day (requires a bachelor's degree). PGT's cover assignments of a longer duration. Assignments are a minimum of 30 days in duration, but can go as long as six months or more. These job opportunities are listed on Pasco Schools website under “Professional Guest Teacher.” Pasco Schools Administration will screen and interview candidates to be placed in these roles.
